Apple Computer appointed Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt a seat as the eighth director on the board of Apple Computer, the computer company announced Tuesday.
“We think Schmidt’s insights and experience will be very valuable in helping to guide Apple in the years ahead,†Apple Computer Chief Executive Steve Jobs said in a statement.
