The Chrome SEO Extension works well for the ones into SEO and who wanted to have the search engines and the search tools to be having more social data. Google, Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Bing and Yahoo Site Explorer are the websites where the search results would not be the same as they were, once the extension is installed and used.
One of the best features of the tools is that it doesn’t play around with the privacy of your computer or accounts, as its job is to just fetch the data about the website you own or visit, with the stats about it, both in the search engines, ranking sites and social networking, bookmarking websites. Everything is shown in a separate window which opens when you click on the extension icon on the top right side.

There is a lot more information given, than expected normally. Here are a few SEO related stats that you would find in the different sections of the plugin page:

  • Yahoo Site Explorer – Site links and Indexed pages
  • Google – Domain links and Indexed pages
  • Bing – Cache and Indexed pages
  • DMoz directory entry
  • Alexa Traffic Rank Data
  • Compete.com Stats – Rank, unique visitors and trust
  • Quantcast.com Stats – Rank
  • Semrush.com Stats – Rank, Traffic, Traffic cost

The Social activity stats shared in the extension:

  • Facebook – Shared, Comments, Likes
  • Twitter – Total Tweets
  • TweetMeMe Comments count, type
  • Google Plus Entries
  • Google Buzz Entries
  • del.icio.us Bookmarks
  • Digg Stories – Diggs to Domain

  • Meta Description. Meta Keywords, Anchor Tags, Img Tags
  • Bold/Strong Tags, I/Em Tags

  • Page Headers

This is one of the best SEO extensions for the Google Chrome browser, where you get all the enough info for the SEO optimization and social sharing of your websites. You don’t need to run around the various websites and tools to check for the information when all is available at a single click in the same page.

The settings of the extension would help you specify what you need and what changes you want to make in the extension and its performance. You can highlight the domains with specific colors, and include or exclude the displaying of social stats in Google analytics, enhancing of the Webmaster tools is controlled by you and the advanced link analysis in the Yahoo Site Explorer can be controlled. Apart from the default stats and colors that are shown, there are many things can be changed and shown to the user if the settings are played around.

I’m still traveling, currently in Vancouver, so I don’t have time to do a full blog post. So far my trip is going well. I’ve finished training staff in Hawaii and Vancouver and have a day of rest now. On Saturday I head to Toronto where I will settle in and get regular net access.

In the meantime I thought I’d send through a couple of thank you links to otherbloggers who featured my content recently. Check out -
